TRANSIENT LIBRARY - XRG SIMULATES SECTOR COUPLING
Is sector coupling just a buzzword and greenwashing? We see great potential in sector coupling for reducing emissions and integrating renewable energies.
What renewable and sustainable solutions are available for your energy supply system and at what price? We develop and use the freely available TransiEnt Library.
From a single-family home to a city district
We need energy in our homes, especially electricity for appliances and heat for space heating and water heating. The way in which this energy is produced and distributed can vary widely and has changed significantly recently - from large, fossil fuel-based generation units - to renewable and more decentralized systems. Analyzing system performance in both generation and distribution is crucial for designing sustainable and efficient solutions. The progress of sector coupling technologies, e.g. B. the electrification of heating systems via heat pumps or the conversion of excess electricity into hydrogen, and the increased use of storage have led to an increase in system complexity.
Simulation-assisted analysis is key
Predicting the (primary) energy consumption of such complex systems can be challenging and requires detailed knowledge and tools. We have both: We are part of the TransiEnt consortium and know the TransiEnt library for analyzing sector-coupled energy systems from the developer and user perspective. We help you analyze and understand the behavior of your energy system with detailed and advanced model-based simulation. Benefit from our comprehensive modeling and simulation expertise in the areas of housing, mobility (automotive and aviation) and sector coupling and experience the synergy of knowledge and commitment.
