RRelease TransiEnt 1.0 - Coupled energy networks with a high share of renewable energy
Renewable energy sources rebuild our world. How do we have to design future energy networks and how stable will our energy supply be?
In a multidisciplinary project of Hamburg University of Technology in cooperation with XRG, the energy supply, conversion and consumption for electricity, natural gas and heat was analyzed for Hamburg's complex energy grid. For systematic calculation of transient energy flows, a very comprehensive model library was created to solve this exciting task. These Modelica model libraries are now available free of charge and can be used for transient (dynamic) simulation of coupled energy networks.
