Release Modelica library ClaRa 1.2.2

A new version of the Modelica library ClaRa for power plant simulation has been released. As part of the ongoing research project "Verbund DYNSTART: Start-up and transient behavior of power plants", the successful Modelica library for simulating Clausius-Rankine cycles is being further improved and expanded. To this end, XRG works closely with TLK-Thermo GmbH, ESI ITI GmbH, the Hamburg-Harburg University of Technology and representatives from the power plant industry.

The current release provides backwards-compatible extensions, such as improved zero mass flow behavior and new models, for over 200 users worldwide and can also be used for existing application models without any conversion effort. The work on the library is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy under the funding code [03ET7060D]. The research project began in August 2015 and ends in December 2018.

The current version is available to download free of charge at www.claralib.com. Further information about the DYNSTART project can be found here.
